In the lead up to the 2023 New Hanover County Republican Party Convention, the establishment wing of the GOP is under sobering scrutiny. Ashley Strand, former campaign communications manager for New Hanover County School Board member Melissa Mason, has come forward with claims of malfeasance across NHC GOP leadership.

In the following short videos, Strand speaks of coordinated lawfare and curruption leveraged agaisnt Conservative GOP candidates. He backs up his claims with audio from different conversations throughout the 2022 mid-term election. These conversations include NHC GOP Chair Will Knecht, NHC GOP Executive Director Wayne Gibson, Miss USA 2005 Chelsea Cooley and top GOP donor Rick Wilkins.
